Take a bow Jane! Jane Claxton-Oldfield was awarded the first Honorable Sharon Carstairs Volunteer Scholarship at the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Conference this past month. Jane has been a long time volunteer in hospice palliative care, and we were pleased to award her with this scholarship!
As a long-time advocate of hospice palliative care, Senator Carstairs has spent seventeen years speaking throughout Canada and internationally on issues related to end-of-life. It is with great pleasure that the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association has created this annual scholarship in her name.
